1. JO's start tomorrow, times for the meet are listed below.
Warm-up and meet times
for MDI swimmers:
Thursday, March 15 (12 & under 500's and 13 & over 1650's) warm-up 4:00pm, meet 4:30pm Friday,
March 16 13 & overs trials w-up 7:30am, meet 8:30am finals w-up 4:15pm, meet 5:00pm(Sunday w-up 3:45pm, meet 4:30pm) 10
& unders w-up 8:00am,meet 8:30am 11-12's w-up 4:15pm, meet 5:00pm(Sunday w-up 3:45pm,meet 4:30pm)
2. Directions
to Bowdoin, Take Rte 3 to Ellsworth and the Rte 1A to Bangor. Take I-395 to Bangor and the take I-95 South to Augusta.
Take the exit in Gardner to I-295. Take the Topsham/Brunswick exit (Rte 196 East). Stay on Lewiston Rd/New Lewiston Rd for
.6 miles and then continue on Brunswick/Topsham by pass for .1 mile. Turn right onto Maine st for 1.2 mile and the continue
on Maine St. for .3 mile. Turn left onto Dunlap St for .1 mile and then turn right onto Federal St. for .6 mile and continue
on Sills Dr. for .2 mile and then turn left on Harpswell Rd. for .2 mile and then turn right into pool parking area.

There will be regular practice times tonight. On Thursday there will be a practice from 2:45 - 4:15pm and on Friday there
will be no practices this week.
4. Practice schedule for the next two weeks:
Senior, Monday - Friday 2:45 -
4:15PM Gold, Monday, Wednesday, & Friday 4:15 - 5:30pm Tuesday & Thursday 5:30 - 7:00pm AM, Monday - Friday
5:45 - 7:00am
5. The Swim Team Banquet will be held on Tuesday, April 10th at the MDI HS Cafe at 6:00pm. We would love
to see of all the Shark swimmers at the Banquet. We will passing out awards and other prizes at the banquet. This year we
will not be charging the swimmers nor the parents to come to the Banquet. Just show up and enjoy the food and festivies.

Swimmers there is still time to turn inyour Aquathon money. We would like to get everyones money by next Monday (March 19th)
so we can order the Aquathon prizes. It would be great if we do so we can get all of the prizes here on time for all of the
swimmers. If you know your sizes for t-shirts and fleeces please email me.
7. Information on spring & summer swim
team will be available at the Aquathon as well as information on the Lenny Demuro swim camp which will be help July 9 - 13.

Please read the attached file if you planning on attending the summer JO's in St. John, NB this summer. The dates of the meet
are July July 25 - 28. Also Maine Swimming will host its Banquet in augusta on April 28. The top 8 finishers in each age group
are allowed to this event without charge. Information about the banquet is also included.

Coach Jim Willis' Bio
Originally from Brockton, MA, Jim graduated from Brockton H.S.. He swam for the Old Colony YMCA
from 1971-79 and the New England Barracudas in 1979&80. A four-year letterman on the U Maine swim team, he graduated with
a degree in Business Administration in 1985. Jim then coached for 5 years at the Bangor YMCA, first as an assistant then as
Head Coach for the 1986-89 seasons. He moved on to the Old Town YMCA and the Canoe City Swim Club in 1989 and was the Head
Coach there from 1992-98. He was the Head Coach at John Bapst HS (1987-90) and for the Bangor HS girls' team (1990-92). Jim
left the Canoe City Swim Club program to head up the St. Croix (US Virgin Islands) Dolphins for the past 3 years. There he
oversaw the rebirth of that club's program from 35 to 75 members. He moved to Bar Harbor in July of 2001 and married Tami
(Chessa) in August 2001. They have a son T.J., and Cassie Lyn is their new member of the family born on February
20, 2005!
